Translation of the "Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Practice Outstanding Award" Information

Purpose
In order to encourage faculty and students to actively participate in the promotion of sustainable development and the practice of university social responsibility, the university is conducting the "Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Practice Outstanding Award" recommendation and selection process. -
Award Recipients
The award is open to both full-time and part-time faculty and current students of the university. -
Criteria for Outstanding Contributions
- Faculty: Faculty members who lead or participate in university social responsibility practice projects with concrete achievements and outstanding performance. Nominees should demonstrate significant contributions through research, teaching, and community involvement, addressing and solving important social issues, thereby promoting sustainable development in the environment, economy, or society.
- Students: Students who actively identify and solve problems related to sustainable development in the environment, economy, or society, and who contribute significantly through organizing or participating in social responsibility practice activities.

Procedures
- Nomination: Faculty, staff, or students can recommend individuals for the award. Nominations must be submitted with supporting documents to the University's Office of Research and Development (Social Responsibility Development and Practice Section) before the deadline. Nominees must list their relevant achievements from the past three years in promoting university social responsibility practice for review.
- Selection Process: Nominations will be initially reviewed by the Social Responsibility Development and Practice Section of the Office of Research and Development, and then sent to the Sustainable Development Committee for final selection.
- Award Recognition: One faculty member and one student will be selected each year for the "Outstanding Award" for their active contribution to promoting university social responsibility practice. Additionally, several faculty and student nominees will receive the "Merit Award." Winners will be publicly recognized by the university president and will receive certificates and monetary awards (only outstanding recipients will receive the monetary award, and the amount will depend on the annual budget).
- Restrictions: Recipients of the Outstanding Award cannot be nominated again for the next three years. However, recipients of the Merit Award do not face this restriction, allowing more outstanding faculty and students the opportunity to be recognized.

Other Notes
- The Nominee's Basic Information Form can be self-recommended by the nominee.
- The Nominee's Basic Information Form should not exceed 5 pages.
- Nominated individuals must list their contributions to sustainable development or university social responsibility practice from the past two years for the selection committee's reference. Supporting materials should be compiled into a single file and must not exceed 50 pages.
