The "YES, I Do One-Week Sustainability Challenge" competition has extended the evaluation period due to the large number of submissions.

Purpose and Objectives of the Activity
The aim of the competition is to inspire curiosity about sustainability-related issues, cultivate sensitivity to sustainability topics in daily life, implement sustainable practices, and collectively create a sustainable lifestyle. By sharing knowledge and experiences through social media, the competition seeks to leverage individual influence to achieve a ripple effect, encouraging more people to care about sustainable development issues.

Faculty, staff, and students of the university. The competition is open to individuals.

Activity Content and Regulations
From October 12 (Wednesday) to October 31 (Monday), 2022, participants are required to publish at least 7 posts on their personal social media platforms that align with the competition's theme and regulations. By 12:00 noon on October 31 (Monday), participants must complete the "Online Registration Form" and submit the "Entry Post Summary Table" in PDF format to participate. The competition has three categories, and participants may win multiple times. Winning posts may be showcased during the 111 academic year’s sustainability learning cycle.

Important Notes

  1. Posts must be original and not plagiarized. Posts should not violate social norms, be illegal, or contain discriminatory content.
  2. All images, texts, and videos must be created by the participant.
  3. Do not create posts just for attention, likes, or fake content.
  4. Each post must include at least 30 words and a photo, or a video of at least 30 seconds.
  5. Posts can have a consistent theme but must each convey an independent message.
  6. At least 7 screenshots of posts must be submitted, and they should be posted on different days (it is not necessary for them to be consecutive days).

Additional Rules and Guidelines

  1. Participants are allowed to use languages other than Chinese (Mandarin or Taiwanese).
  2. By submitting content, participants grant the organizing unit the right to reproduce the submitted images, text, and videos without compensation, and agree that these materials can be used in any public setting and for an unlimited number of occurrences.
  3. Posts can be made on any social media platform, but the account must belong to the participant and be set to public.
  4. The number of characters and likes will not be used as scoring criteria. However, in case of tied scores, they may serve as a reference for ranking.
  5. There are three prize categories, and in case any category is left unawarded, the prize amount may be reassigned to other categories, as determined by the Sustainable Development Office officials.
